I was listening to the FIFA press conference 29 September and after about 35 mins there was a question about the seeding and the General Secretary Valcke answered "The seeding will clearly follow the FIFA ranking system". If that is a reference to the world ranking it is big news but it has not been picked up anywhere. There is a link at FIFA site if someone wants to listen to the comment
