  1. Mauritania vs Mauritius are not friendlies but CAF preliminary qualifiers.

Will you publish a post regarding the Nations League (UNL) on your blog? I couldn't find a relevant post so I left a comment below this post:
    http://www.football-rankings.info/2014/01/euro-2016-minimum-travel-groups.html?showComment=1396018609349#c2947820396196417258

Although I feel that the minimum travel groups concept was a good idea ... it would most likely lead to constantly repeating the same ties as only a handful of teams are promoted/relegated in the UNL (less so in the Qs). Seeing that UEFA only releases the coefficient rankings (NTs) every 2 years ... at least one of your readers is interested in knowing where we stand ... then again UEFA might decide to publish them more often when promoting the UNL. So far only the results of the Brazil2014 Qs are known ... yet even without projections, we could see how the teams rank based solely on the Brazil2014 Qs and update that ranking when e.g. the results of Brazil2014 (final event) are known. Unless I'm mistaken the results of Brazil2014 (Qs + final event), France2016 (Qs + final event) and Russia2018 (Qs only) will now also seal your UNL fate and have become more important for those NTs that aim to end up in the most lucrative friendlies/division of the UNL.

  3. I have a question. Aruba will be playing in the preliminary round for the Caribbean Cup ( 28 may - 1 june). We are expecting two wins for Aruba ( BVI and Turks and Caicos). Do these matches count as a regional qualifier ?

    1. Yes, last time around (qualifying for the Caribbean Nations Cup 2012) all the matches in the qualifying stages counted as regional qualifiers and had a weight of 2.5 in the FIFA calculations.
