FIFA Ranking: June 2009 differences

June 2009 differences solved.

Ghana - Uganda (May 31st) wasn't included in the June 2009 FIFA Ranking calculation, while Qatar - Iraq 1 - 0 (May 31st) was removed from the results (I don't know why).

Comparing the official June 2009 ranking with the last FIFA Ranking update I posted on June 1st, I have a 30 points difference for England and there are another 3 countries with smaller, yet completely unexpected differences: Trinidad and Tobago (4 points), Greece (2 points) and Japan (1 point).

There's also Armenia with 23 points, but I never had official data for them.

Working with FIFA's Information Services department at the moment to get to the bottom of this.

Pe 1 iunie, Comitetul Executiv al FRF a luat urmatoarea decizie (printre multe altele):

"Începând cu anul competiţional 2009/2010 se interzice cesionarea dreptului de participare în competiţii, precum şi orice alt mecanism juridic (comasare prin fuziune sau absorbţie, divizare etc.) care are ca efect transferul dreptului de participare în competiţii şi al dreptului de transfer asupra jucătorilor."

Cand incepe anul competitional? Dupa ultimul meci jucat in acest sezon sau odata cu primul meci din sezonul 2009/2010?

Anul competitional este perioada cuprinsa intre data de 1 iulie a anului in curs si data de 30 iunie a anului urmator.
