EURO 2012: Final draw coefficients (12 August 2011)

The coefficients for the EURO 2012 final draw will take into account results from:

EURO 2008 (qualifiers and final tournament) - 20% of total weighting
2010 World Cup (qualifiers and final tournament) - 40% of total weighting
EURO 2012 (qualifiers) - 40% of total weighting

Hosts Poland (23806) and Ukraine (28029) will be seeded for the final draw, along with 2008 winners, Spain, if they qualify.

Only one match since the last update: Northern Ireland - Faroe Islands 4 - 0.

  2. Absurd to put Poland and Ukraine in pot 1 and either Germany or Holland in pot 2.

    It is their right as hosts. If the pot 2 team gets put in with a team that isn't a host, that will probably doom the other two unfortunate teams that end up in that group though. But I don't think there's ever been a time when you have three nations that are just flat out superior to everybody else.
