FIFA Women's Ranking: June 2012 preview (II)

Next update: 25 May 2012

FIFA will publish the ranking on June 1st.

I'm still waiting for an answer for FIFA regarding possible errors in the rankings, so bear this in mind while looking at the table below.

USA can still lose top spot by losing against China PR on May 27.

Brazil have dropped to 5th, behind Sweden. They can return to 4th if Sweden don't perform as expected in their friendly against Scotland.

Only 18 teams of the current top 100 can still change their points.

Modifications with 6 - 0 scores.

  1. Thank you for doing the calculations on the women's ranking.

One question, Brazil's match against Canada (2:1 loss) was supposed to be a match on neutral ground, wasn't it?

  2. You're welcome.

Yes (my geography may be shaky, but I'm sure Foxboro/Boston is in the USA). The loss against the USA was also on neutral ground.
