AFC MA Ranking update (19 May 2017)

Weighting for the FIFA ranking part of the formula dropped from 30% to 10%. The MA ranking at the end of the club season (November 2017) will be used to determine the slot allocations for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

FIFA ranking points computed for November 2017, considering scheduled matches as defeats and using 797 as maximum (the amount of points the top AFC team had in November 2016).

West

India overtake Jordan, and the I-League champions will be hosting in the preliminary round. With Jordan's Al-Wehdat losing 4-1 in the West Zonal Semifinals first leg, it seems India have the upper hand and will most likely remain 9th.

Tajikistan break in the top 12, replacing Lebanon, and should start looking into documentation regarding the ACL licensing.
