  1. It looks like FIFA will be including the June 4th matches as on FIFA;s website they list the June 4th matches in the calculator.

    2. It breaks no FIFA rules as far as I know.

    3. Edgar, i'm not really into the rules which games can be considered for Football-rankings.

Is a substitution of 9 players something which causes the game not to be counted for FIFA ranking? If so, i guess the USA-BEL game of tonight won't count either.

(and that might explain why http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/belgium_croatia/index/spielbericht_999580.html isn't counted either)

  3. What the...? Italy set up a friendly with SAN MARINO??? Why?!

A friendly with San Marino. Just let that sink in for a moment. Italy set up a friendly. With San Marino. That is completely worthless. At least Croatia with the Liechtenstein stuff, at least Liechtenstein will put up a bit of a fight, might make it tough to break them down on a good day, but not San Marino.

    1. San Marino. Yeah, that's really going to be top class preperation for the Czech Republic qualifier and the Confederations Cup, isn't it...

That's really going to test the mettle of the players and bring them up to the level they'll need to be at for these big matches.

    3. You wouldn't think they'd need it though, Euro 2012 finalist, dominating their 2014 qualifying group:

By the way, you know Gibraltar are into the International fold now, right? Another team for UEFA.

  4. I see that some Algeria (Local team) matches are listed in Fifa.com as if they were A team games. For instance Algeria Vs. Mauritania.

Actually in the Algeria Vs. Mauritania game, only local teams are concerned (teams constituted of players evolving in the algerian championship). Does such a match correspond to the Fifa ranking standard?

    1. Yes, FIFA changed the rules and now include all CHAN matches as A internationals. CHAN=Championship of African Nations teams or simply league selections.
