    1. I have Croatia in 8th position and because Brazil is 9th but automatically seeded, Croatia just isn't.

But my ranking are different than Edgars. I believe Edgar also takes the games into account that already are known, but still have to played until October 2013. I only take the games into account that actually have been played. That's why Cot d'Ivoire has a much higher position in Edgars ranking (due to the CAF Nations Cup 2013 I think) than in my ranking.

My top seeds for Brazil 2014 at the moment are: Brazil, Spain, Germany, Uruguay, Netherlands, England, Portugal and Argentina.

    3. MV, you're right. There was a small error in my database. Croatia will have 534 points and will be 6th, 7th or 8th (depends on results of final games in Euro2012).

Will post my top 10 tonight.

    4. Sorry for breaking my promise, had some urgent matters to attend to tonight. My top 20 (updated after the quarter final England-Italy):

      Is Country Pts.

      1 Germany 814
      2 Spain 782
      3 Uruguay 666
      4 Portugal 665
      5 Argentina 662
      6 England 632
      7 Italy 551
      8 Croatia 534
      9 Chile 503
      10 Russia 469
      11 Côte d'Ivoire 462
      12 Denmark 462
      13 France 462
      14 Netherlands 462
      15 Czech Republic 460
      16 Mexico 459
      17 Greece 446
      18 Brazil 432
      19 Sweden 432
      20 Ecuador 419

So, the seeded teams would be: Brazil, Spain, Germany, Uruguay, Portugal, Argentina, England and Italy.

But as I said earlier, I think Edgar uses a different method of calculating his probable seeded teams.

    5. No problem. Many thanks.
I didn't even calculate non-European teams - I looked at Edgar's numbers and tought they won't be that high during the EUROs.

"But as I said earlier, I think Edgar uses a different method of calculating his probable seeded teams."
Yes, but I prefer this one.

  2. I consider scheduled matches (up to October 2012, not 2013) as defeats.
